Technologies related to computer hardware and software have made tremendous strides during the past few decades. These technologies enhance not just extremely basic aspects of everyday living but also those related to health, communication, the manufacturing sector, and other sectors. The future foundation is therefore provided by recent developments in computer and software technology.
Future advances' viability heavily depends on the presence of important technologies and their adoption. Cornerstone disciplines including distributed parallel processing, image processing, and security solutions become apparent when global trends in cloud computing, including all of its services, are analyzed. Different sets of resources, such as computer hardware, the Internet, software and hardware tools, mobility technologies, storage, system administration, and security technology, are needed in these domains.
The present issue before you brings diversified topics including hardware and software advancements. Daniel Dauda Wisdom et al., has proposed a battery lifetime management scheme looking into the importance of IoT devices. The authors have included the complete programs also for the benefit of readers. Anupam Kumar Yadav et al., has proposed a small patch antenna that is sandwiched between a radiating patch and defected ground structure (DGS) plane. The C-shaped antenna is connected to the coaxial cable connection using a microstrip feedline. Development of autonomous vehicles has taken a great stride and driver-less cars are the almost the reality of today. Sk Mamud Haque and co-author has presented a review of this journey of autonomous vehicles.
Shiva Koyadda et al., on one side has addressed the healthcare issue by proposing machine learning technique for lung infection detection while Sumit Kumar remained interested in image processing topic of content-based image retrieval mechanism. His technique is based on primitive features.
Lastly, a CNN- based anomaly detection model for complex systems has been presented in her manuscript by Sneha Mishra and her co-author.
Looking into the quality of articles included in the issue, I am more than hopeful that the readership will enjoy the issue.
Happy reading!
